About the Role

We’re working with a fast-growing, founder-led digital marketing agency that has built a strong reputation, loyal client base, and consistent year-over-year growth. As the founders look to step back from day-to-day operations, we’re seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the business into its next phase of scale. 

This is a unique opportunity to step into a profitable agency with an established niche, strong culture, and significant runway for growth. They are doing a lot of things well, but need to bring an experienced operator to get them to their next phase. We’re looking for a revenue generating CEO with an eye for building talented teams.


What You’ll Do

  • Leadership & Vision

    • Own overall strategy, operations, and growth of the agency.

    • Work closely with the founders during the transition and then lead independently.

    • Serve as the external face of the agency at conferences, podcasts, and industry events.

  • Growth & Sales

    • Drive 20–30% annual growth through new business development, referrals, and expanded service offerings.

    • Strengthen sales processes, outbound efforts, and client follow-up strategies.

    • Identify and pursue product expansion opportunities (e.g., paid ads, smaller-tier programs, franchise opportunities).

  • Operations & Systems

    • Professionalize internal operations with tools and processes (ClickUp, reporting, project management discipline).

    • Ensure client satisfaction and retention by strengthening account management practices.

    • Oversee financial performance, ensuring growth is profitable and margins remain strong.

  • Team Building & Culture

    • Lead and empower a 30+ person team across Sales, Client Success, Operations, and Marketing.

    • Mentor and elevate mid-level leaders, creating a strong leadership bench.

    • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and client-centric execution.


What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience scaling a marketing agency (ideally from ~30 → 75+ people).

  • Strong background in sales, marketing, and product growth with a track record of profitable scaling.

  • Comfortable serving as the public face of the business (speaking, presenting, representing at industry events).

  • Skilled at building leadership teams and empowering others.

  • Experience professionalizing operations with modern systems and processes.

  • Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and excited about how technology (AI, automation, GEO, chatbots) is reshaping marketing.
